Part 2 of Lupin pretty much picked up right where Part 1 left off.
When Leonard took Raoul (Etan Simon), it made us all wonder what happened to the kid. Part 2 answers all the questions you and I had, as expected.
In the first two episodes of part 2, everyone is trying very hard to find Raoul and save his life. But what did it lead to? All of our questions were answered in the episodes, and there are spoilers ahead.
Part II of Lupin shows that Raoul did not die in the car Leonard set on fire. He was saved just in time by detective Youseff Guedira.
Did Raoul Die in Lupin?

Leonard took Raoul, Assane Diop’s son, away at the end of Lupin Part 1. At the start of Part 2, Assane and his partner Claire are looking for Raoul, who has just vanished.
Assane was able to find Leonard and Raoul with the help of Youseff Guedira, who had seen Raoul being taken away. But things weren’t going to go so smoothly, come on!
Assane looked for his son desperately while beating up Leonard and throwing him out the window. The audience saw that Raoul was stuck in the trunk of a car that Leonard set on fire.
So, the people who made the movie make us think he died by having him scream in the car. By the time Assane finds the car, it is already on fire. So it’s clear that he thinks Raoul is dead, and so do we.
But episode 2 adds a new twist by showing that Raoul is still alive. Detective Youseff Guedira heard Raoul’s screams from the burning car at the right time and pulled him out, saving the boy’s life.
So, in the end, Raoul is safe, but he is still in danger. Raoul was taken to Dumont by the detective. What’s that? He didn’t know that Dumont, the police commissioner, was really just a puppet for Pellegrini.
Who Saved Raoul?

Youseff Guedira heard Raoul screaming from the burning car where Leonard had trapped and burned him. But he saved Raoul’s life by pulling him out at the right time. At this time, Assane was looking for his son inside the house.
Youseff was also the one who saw Leonard force Raoul into his car and drive off with him. He shared what he had seen with Assane and Claire.
Assane and Guedira find Leonard, and Assane knocks off the kidnapper and pushes him out the window. How stupid it was to touch Raoul!
But despite all of that, Assane doesn’t find Raoul in the house where they found Leonard. On top of that, he saw that his son’s car had been burned to ashes and thought that his son was also dead. But in the next episode, everything will be clear.
In episode 2, Youseff tells Assane that no one was found in the trunk of Leonard’s burning car. This makes Assane very upset about his son’s supposed death.
This is when we find out that Raoul is alive, that Youseff saved him, and that he is now with Dumont. Assane comes up with a plan and tells Dumont about a fake robbery so that he can save his teenage son.
Will There Be a Part 3?

The official website for the show says that Lupin Part 3 is on the way. It will come out in two parts, just like Season 1 did.
