Ozark Season 4 Released Date in Two Parts

“Ozark” is a Netflix crime drama set in central Missouri. We follow Martin “Marty” Byrde as he moves his family from Chicago to the Lake of the Ozarks area to set up a money-laundering operation for a Mexican drug cartel.

After a botched scheme, he moves to a new city in an attempt to start over, but instead, he finds himself in the middle of a conflict between the local crime families and the mafia bosses.

The first episode of the show, which Bill Dubuque and Mark Williams created, aired on July 21, 2017. Both the critics and the audiences have given it rave reviews.

Due to its intricate plot and stellar acting, the show has established itself as one of the best crime dramas of its time over the course of its three seasons.

Here’s everything we know about season 4 of “Ozark,” which promises more drama for the Byrdes.

Ozark Season 4 Release Date

Netflix renewed ‘Ozark’ for a fourth and final season on June 30, 2020. Fans have been waiting for season 4 since the season 3 finale’s shocking twist to find out what will happen to Marty and Wendy.

Please be advised that the premiere of the first episode of Season 4 of “Ozark” will take place on January 21, 2022, at 3 am ET on Netflix, marking the beginning of the end of the long wait for which we apologise.

The forthcoming instalment will premiere with a massive 14 episodes split into two parts of seven episodes each.

Since season 4 will be the last, it will devote more time and attention to the Byrdes’ plight than it has in previous seasons.

Production reportedly kicked off on November 9, 2020, and wrapped up on October 8, 2021, for the fourth instalment.

Fans can get ready for the return of their favourite show soon, even though information about the second half of season 4 has not yet been released.

Ozark Season 4 Cast: Who is in it?

Principal cast members Jason Bateman (Martin “Marty” Byrde), Laura Linney (Wendy Byrde), Sofia Hublitz (Charlotte Byrde), Skylar Gaertner (Jonah Byrde), Julia Garner (Ruth Langmore), Lisa Emery (Darlene Snell), and Jessica Frances Dukes (Sherlock) will all be back for season 4 of ‘Ozark’ (Maya Miller).

Season 3 recurring cast members Felix Solis (Omar Navarro) and Damian Young (Jim Rattelsdorf) have been promoted to regular roles for season 4.

There will be new cast members in the upcoming season. Javi Elizonndro, a Navarro cartel member, will be played by Alfonso Herrera.

Adam Rothenberg has also joined the cast to play Mel Sattem, a tough private eye. In addition, CC Castillo will play Sheriff Leigh Guerrero, and Bruno Bichir will play Navarro’s priest.

The CEO of a major biopharmaceutical company, Clare Shaw, played by Katrina Lenk, has joined the cast. Ali Stroker (Charles-Ann), Veronica Falcón (Camila), Eric Ladin (Kerry), and Bruce Davison (Randall Schafer) have all returned for the fourth season.

Killer Mike, a well-known rapper, could make a guest appearance in Season 4. On the other hand, some cast members could be left out.

As their characters are killed off in the third season, Janet McTeer (Helen Pierce), Tom Pelphrey (Ben Davis), and Marylouise Burke (Sue Shelby) might not return.

Ozark Season 4 Plot: What can it be About?

In the final episode of season three, Helen approaches Navarro with the idea that she and her sister would like to take over the company from Marty and Wendy.

Ruth leaves Marty’s employ and teams up with Darlene after having disagreements with Wendy over Ben’s death.

Jonah learns more about his mother and father when he confronts Helen about Ben.

Helen later joins Marty and Wendy to witness the second baptism of Navarro’s son, but she is killed in the process.

Navarro embraces the Byrdes and promises increased collaboration.

The shocking events of the third season finale of “Ozark” are expected to carry over into the first episode of the fourth season.

The business may improve now that Navarro is on Byrdes’ side, but Ruth’s threat will always be a hurdle.

If Jonah puts two and two together and concludes that Wendy was responsible for Ben’s death, it could create tension between the couple and their son.

Showrunner Chris Mundy discussed the upcoming fourth season in a prerecorded session at PaleyFest LA.

You’ll find out what the Byrdes’ end goal is, and the Byrdes will “have to reckon with it a little bit,” Mundy promised the audience.

If Marty and Wendy are looking for a way out, they need to decide if that’s what they want and, if so, which way out they want to go.

Then, after all that upheaval, “reckoning with that” is what will be “bubbling under the surface,” he said.

There will be a riveting showdown for the Byrdes regardless of which way Marty and Wendy decide to use their newfound power.
