Based on the South Korean web manhwa series created and illustrated by SIU, “Tower Of God” or “Kami No Tou”, is a dark-fantasy action-adventure television anime.
The story centers around the character Twenty-Fifth Bam, who has lived his entire existence in a dark cave, staring up at a crack high above which light can only barely pass through.
Then, one day, an innocent girl called Rachel comes through the crack and brings the world’s news with her. When they get to spend time with each other, a strong connection develops between them.
But, Rachel eventually leaves, insisting that she will climb a tower that she has never seen before. If she or any other person can reach the peak, the wish will be fulfilled. Bam is escorted to the summit and gets help from a shrewd source.

Tower of God Season 2 Release Date
Season 1 began airing on April 2nd, 2020, and aired 13 shows before closing on June 25, 2020. The show was broadcast simultaneously throughout Japan, South Korea, and the US. It was among the very few Crunchyroll original series to be released that year.
Studio Telecom Animation Film developed the show with Takashi Sano as the primary director and Erika Yoshida directing the writing team. For season 2, the following is all we have to know.
The creators of the anime haven’t made any statement that confirms or denies the possibility of a second season. However, in response to an inquiry regarding the possibility of a new season, Carter Hahnselle, who serves as director of title and brand marketing at Crunchyroll, urged fans in an interview with them in May 2020 to take a look at the show and discover how far Ban has come within the tower.
He also said that he could not divulge anything other than the information he’s already provided and thanked the fans for their support throughout the years.
The first season was an adaptation of Part 1 (up to and including the first chapter of Chapter 78) of the Manhwa series. Around 500 chapters of the “Tower of the God” manhwa have been published until now.
There is plenty of material for the creators of the anime to look at during the coming season. In 2021, the “Tower of God” series had a Blu-ray release and is doing quite well in sales overall. With this in mind, it is possible that the Tower of God’s second season could be released in the latter half of 2021 or early 2022.
Tower of God Season 2 Plot: What Can It Be About?
In the season 1 finale, Rachel finds out that the tower has never reached her to call her. She is jealous, seeing how effortlessly Bam is advancing over the hurdles. Headon says she’ll be allowed to ascend if she prevails against Bam.
She gets a bodyguard as an exclusive weapon that effectively grants her two lives. She is betrayed by Bam and throws Bam into Shinsu Lake. But, he can escape and realizes he needs to go back up the tower to seek answers.
Season 2, the second episode of the Manhwa series, is likely to be made into an adaptation. The series will feature the ability to skip time. Yuri could visit their sister Repellista and her family on a trip.
Wangnan Ja could face some difficulties in the initial test when one of his colleagues set fire to him. In the meantime, Bam will try to find out why Rachel has sunk and will undergo the tests. A new character will debut later in the season, which includes Prince, Rapdevil, and Ehwa Yeon.
