One of the crew members included Justo Jay. Here’s what we know about him.

Who is Justo Jay?

Justo Enrique Jay was an essential component in Willy and Sal’s organization for cocaine right from the beginning, as he was not just an intimate friend, but also accountable enough to take charge of the cargo that was brought in.

Everything that the kingpins required to oversee the operations of their storage houses or to ensure the efficient flow of cash as well as goods, Justo presented it.

Just like the two of them, he had emigrated from Cuba as a young man in the mid-1950s and was raised in poverty within Little Havana. So, to achieve the best quality of life and to earn funds, they initially didn’t mind taking the easy route by trafficking drugs.

Justo was so essential in his role that Willy and Sal needed to relocate the man into North Carolina to manage their trade however, it was only a matter of time before his capture in 1988.

Two days later, on February 2nd Justo was charged with one continuous criminal enterprise (CCE) charge by the Western District of NC, that, on the 9th of March the following day, was followed by a single count of conspiracy to distribute cocaine and 14 other counts of possession with intent to distribute and deal with cocaine.
