Where to get Fortune Spheres
There’s only one spot to make a fortune in Spira, and that’s through an Earth Eater. The Monster Creation is a beast to take on and will drop just one fortune sphere per battle. You may find additional Fortune Spheres here and there in the odd chest, but they’re very few and far between.
The Earth Eater is the only method to get these beasts. And it’s a hard battle. The Earth Eater is equipped with 1.3 million HP and is able to knock out any character in a matter of seconds with its Megaton Punch. Do enough damage to it that it will be knocked onto its back.

But even then, it will counterattack every strike by using a flare. To put it mildly, the entire fight is a test. If you’re not prepared for the continuous KOs and the amount of time the fight can take, it could make farming a difficult job.
Fortune Sphere Uses
The principal goal of any named globe is to allow access to things within the Sphere Grid. Fortune Spheres are waking up luck nodes, which increases your luck. You guessed it, your chances of success.
Lucky is an extremely great stat in the game, but we’ll get to the subject in the coming days. To use other applications, it is also possible to use Fortune Spheres, which are included in Rikku’s three mixes.
Hero Drink (Ability Sphere + Fortune Sphere): Significantly boosts the critical hit rate of a member of the party.
Magic Drink (Arctic Wind + Fortune Sphere): Dramatically boosts the critical hit rate of the entire party.
Supernova (Dark Matter+ Fortune Sphere): It deals massive damage to all foes.
Is Fortune Spheres Worth Farming?
Yes. However, only if you’re looking for 100 percent success. The battle against the Dark Aeons, as well as the ultimate penance, almost requires your group to be on the high end, if not the maximum.
Chances of luck within Final Fantasy X affect a character’s agility, precision, and critical hit chance, as well as how often enemies strike them in a critical way. And luck can be measured significantly more accurately than other metrics, such as accuracy.
A handful of enemies are able to hit a person with 255 Luck. And there’s nothing that a character could not strike… If the time comes, there will always be an embarrassment. However, the process of farming Fortune Spheres is only half the fight when it comes to maximizing your chances with each character.
You’ll also have to search for Lucky Spheres to increase the number of spheres in your sphere grid. In the end, yes, Fortune Spheres are worth farming at any point of the game.
