“Tough as Nails” is a reality competition show on CBS. Contestants face challenges on real job sites that test their physical and mental strength.
Each week, a contestant is voted off based on how well they did. But the person who gets kicked off the show keeps being a part of it, which is not usually the case with reality shows.
So, it seemed strange that Michael “Eyebrows” Guerriero, also known as “Mikey,” wasn’t seen after the second episode of season 2, especially since he wasn’t even eliminated in any task.
But in his short time on “Tough as Nails,” the bricklayer from New York City was able to make some people upset.
If you want to know what happened, this is all we know so far.
What Happened to Michael “Eyebrows” Guerriero?
Even though it’s rare for people to leave a show, Tara Alverson and Mikey left the show after only a few episodes.
But since not much was said about why Mikey left the show, people started to wonder more and more about it.
The show talked about Tara’s leaving, and it was made clear that she couldn’t keep competing because of her hand injury.
Phil Keoghan, the show’s host, and co-creator said that Mikey would not be back because he “had to go home.”

Also, in episode 2, Mikey made “Freight Train” Hargan fall into the water during a team challenge.
There was some tension between the two contestants after what happened, but Mikey made it clear that it wasn’t on purpose.
Later, Keoghan went public and said the same thing. So, this event didn’t help solve the mystery of why Mikey was “disqualified.”
Why Did Michael “Eyebrows” Guerriero Leave Tough as Nails?
In an interview with Rob Has a Podcast in March 2021, Keoghan said why Mikey was kicked out of the race.
He said, “It’s very important to me that a set is a respectful place. This is important to us.
We do have some rules with no exceptions. He broke one of those rules behind the scenes, which is why he’s no longer competing on the show. “Yes, that’s it.
Keoghan said again that once a person has crossed a line, there is no going back.
None of this was a surprise to the contestants because they knew the rules.
Since things happened so quickly, it was decided that viewers would just be told that Mikey was leaving without going into detail.
Even though Keoghan didn’t say much about what happened, fans still tried to figure out why Mikey left the show.
Some people thought he might have had problems with his family, while others said that his fall in the Individual Challenge might have made him too hurt to stay on the show.
After Patrick fell, many other viewers also told him they didn’t like him.
Keoghan said, though, that Mikey broke some rules off-camera, which is why he was kicked out of the competition series.
Even though the host kept the details of what happened from the public, it seems unlikely that Mikey would ever be welcome back on the show.
“Tough as Nails” has been picked up for a third and fourth season, which will likely have a new group of contestants.
